The rhinocereetle race is said to originate from another crystal sphere, supposedly that of Ka'jk'z, the same one as the supposed home of the neogi. After the spider-like neogi ravaged their own world, they set off on their spelljammers to conquer other worlds and take others as slaves as part of their spacefaring conquest. Among the races left behind in their ruined home were the rhinocereetles. Thirsting for revenge, they trained themselves to grow in strength and numbers before creating spaceworthy vessels of their own with which they would use to chase the neogi through space, much like how the gith antagonize the illithids.

- To be a member of a race that favors the Fighter, Barbarian and Warlord classes.
Physical Qualities
True to their name, rhinocereetles appear to be humanoid beetle creatures with large horns like a rhino in the middle of their face. They are very bulky due to their naturally armored body and highly developed musculature. Even the ones who look fat have the power of sumo wrestlers. They have four arms to crush enemies in addition to their horn. As a result of their increased body mass, their wings have evolved out of use, and they are completely landwalkers. The armor-like carapace of a rhinocereetle can take on a variety of shades from earthy brown and green, to black, dark blue, and purple. Their arms end in hands that usually have three digits each, and their legs have thicker ankles towards the bottom, with three toes.
Because their armor and musculature is so distinct and impressive, rhinocereetles are loathed to dress in clothing that would cover this characteristic. They commonly just wear something to cover between the legs, but never the upper body or head. Clothes are also rather superfluous to them, so their choice of wear is often very plain. Rhinocereetles live to be about 100 years old on average, and their color grows dark and darker with age.
Playing a Rhinocereetle
Most rhinocreetles are bred with a hate of neogi. Their original status of slaves, and the destruction of their home has left them bitter and hungering for revenge. They know of the neogi's weakness in physical strength, and have thus trained themselves and all their progeny to be soldiers in the crusade against the neogi scourge. Thus rhinocereetles tend to resort to violence rather than diplomacy, because that is what they are raised with. Negotiations allow people to mess things up, and for the controlling types like neogi to enact their hated brain control. Better to just bash the brains out first. This is problematic since rhinocereetles are from the Far Plane as well, and so their tendency for violence can end more often with a bounty on their head. Their hatred extends to general grudges in general, and a rhinocereetle never forgets a grudge.
Rhinocereetle Characteristics: Brave, bold, silent, menacing, impulsive, vengeful

Rhinocereetle Adventurer
One sample rhinocereetle adventurer is described below.
Scarab is a rhinocereetle barbarian. After having landed in the Material Realm, he was separated from his team in search of other Far Planers. The primal energies here resonate with him and make him feel invigorated. He was so invigorated, in fact, that he ran into a nearby village like a madman and got jailed as a monster. In his cell, he came to meet a band of ne'er-do-well adventurers plotting their escape. Recognizing his strength, they allowed Scarab in on their plans...
