Revised Shield Master (5e Feat)
Revised Shield Master
Prerequisites: Shield Proficiency
You use shields not just for protection but also for offense. You gain the following benefits while you are wielding a shield:
- As a bonus action on your turn while you are wielding a shield, you may attempt to shove a creature within 5 feet of you.
- As a bonus action on your turn you may enter a Shield Stance for 1 minute or until you move. While in this stance you gain advantage on Dexterity Saving Throws You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses on a short or long rest.
- If you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you can use your reaction to take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw and only half damage if you fail, interposing your shield between yourself and the source of the effect. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses on a long rest.
