Pyromancer Wizard School (5e Subclass)

The School of Pyromancy

Wizard Subclass

As a member of the School of Pyromancy, you have honed your ability to control and manipulate flames. Some pyromancers are studious individuals, devoting their time and will to containing and controlling the raging infernoes they control. Others become raging, reckless tyranical villains. Slaves to their power, they cause destruction and revel in the chaos they create. The type of pyromancer you become is up to you, but be warned; The power of flames is not to be underestimated, often harmful to allies and enemies alike.

Firestarter

Starting at 2nd level, you can ignite unattended flammable objects simply by grasping them. Additionally as a bonus action you can choose to ignite an unattended flammable object within 30ft. or smother an already burning non-magical fire. When smothering a fire, the fire cannot exceed 5 square feet.

Force of Flames

Starting at 2nd level, your control of your flames developes to the point that you are able to empower some of you spells with tremendous force. When a creature fails the saving throw of a spell that does fire damage and has an area of effect, it is knocked prone. At 6th level they are also pushed back 5ft. This push increase by an additional 5ft. at 10th and 14th levels.

Tome of Fire

At each the 5th, 9th, 13th and 15th level, you may learn one spell from any class that only deals Fire damage. The spells learnt in this manner become wizard spells for you. When selecting the spells learnt with this feature, they must be of a level of which you can cast.

Raging Inferno

At 6th level you learn to amplify the intensity of your flames. When a creature takes fire damage from one of your spells (or your Vocanic Mantle), they take additional damage equal to half your wizard level rounding down.

Blazing Torrent

At 10th level, you master the art of smothering fire with fire. You now deal half damage to creatures with immunity to fire, and full damage to those with fire resistance.

Volcanic Mantle

At 14th level, you are able to wreath yourself in a mantle of flame, empowering your spells and protecting you from harm. Your volcanic mantle lasts for 1 minute and grants the following benefits:

  • You are immune to fire damage.
  • Any spell you cast with a spell slot that deals fire damage, counts as being cast at a level of one spell slot higher.
  • You deal fire damage equal to your intelligence modifier to any creature that hits you with a melee attack.
  • You shed bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet.

Once you use this class feature, you can't use it again until you complete a long rest.

America never does anything halfway. All numbers must be strictly greater than 1 million. The small stuff is inconsequential to us. There are no import statements allowed. All code has to be home-grown and American made. Instead of True and False, we have the keywords fact and lie. Only the most popular English words, Trump's favorite words, and current politician names can be used as variable names. Error messages are mostly quotes directly taken from Trump himself. All programs must end with America is great. Our language will automatically correct Forbes' $4.5B to $10B. In its raw form, TrumpScript is not compatible with Windows, because Trump isn't the type of guy to believe in PC.```
