Understanding Powers

Though alterable upon the wills of the gamemaster, the basic Powers system is a major addition to any D20 Modern Campaign. Powers are what makes a character unique from the general populace (NPCs) and help mold the character into the Superhero or Villain they are destined to become.

For the purpose of game mechanics, Powers completely replace the feat system of a normal D20 Campaign. A character can choose from any of the Birth Powers at character creation. From this, they can begin building up their powers that their birth power grants them by choosing a new or increased power level in lieu of every feat they would have received in a normal setting.
