Path of the Pinoak Warrior (5e Subclass)

Path of the Pinoak Warrior

This a an subclass for the barbarian class based in the Nimda campaign setting The mysterious pinoak people fight with monsters and creatures very foreign to the common man. Therefore the strongest tribesmen of the Radis Islands have developed a unique fighting style which mimics natures movements and monsters ferocity known as Kai-Do-Ha. A combination of dancing, chanting, and singing while fighting to distract and disorient your foe. It is a fighting style far more developed for the protection of other tribesman than for killing creatures.

Enthralling Chants

When you take this subclass at 3rd level you learn how to make threatening snarls growls and sing low chant like songs to entice your opponents to attack you. As a bonus action, you can target one hostile creature within 15ft of you. That creature must make a wisdom save DC= (8+ proficiency bonus+ charisma modifier) if it fails it has disadvantage on attack rolls against any creature other than you on its next turn.

Kai-Do-Ha Performance

At 6th level, you learn to infuse your rages with dances and powerful jerks and stomps making your movements hard to predict. While raging, opportunity attacks made against you are made with disadvantage.

War Cry

At 10th level you learn the ancient war chants of the pinoak people and they give you and your allies strength. As an action you shout a mighty call bolstering you and any friendly creatures within 30ft that can hear you with 1d8+your barbarian level in temporary hit points. You can only use this ability once regaining use of it at the end of your next long rest.

Protective Warchief

After 14th level whenever a friendly creature takes damage from a creature that is within 5ft of you, you may use your reaction to make one melee weapon attack against that creature.

gollark: 🐟💻🐟
gollark: I mean, generally speaking, any player can remove about 16-24 generic eggs from the cave per day and then dump them somewhere, with about 10 minutes of work. Obviously, if you want to gather nongeneric ones you either need more time or lower targets.
gollark: It'd be pointless.
gollark: The 16-24 eggs a day thing is that you can gather eggs from the cave, then wait five hours, then trade/gift/dump then, then do it again maybe twice more.
gollark: None!
