Barbarian Subclass
- Ancient Fury
At 3rd level, when you rage, you may forgo your additional rage damage and add its total to a creature’s AC within 10 feet of you, your own AC drops by that amount. This lasts until the start of your next turn. If a creature attacks the target under this effect and misses, they take damage equal to the rage bonus, this damage is doubled at 14th level. You may do this up to your Constitution modifier amount of times.
- Ancient Knowledge
At 3rd level, you gain proficiency with a language, gaming set, or instrument of your choice. You also gain one additional proficiency in these lines at 6th, 10th, and 14th level.
- Willpower of an Old Soldier
At 6th level, you gain proficiency with Wisdom saving throws.
- Teachings of the Stubborn Tutor
At 10th level, When you rage, every ally within a 10 foot radius has bonus to wisdom saving throws equal your Constitution modifier. Additionally, if they fail a saving throw under these effects, they gain temporary hit points equal to double your rage bonus damage.
- True Calling
At 14th level, at the end of your long rest, you meditate on the teachings you have learned on your journey through life. You choose between Life, Balance, or Death during your meditations.
- Life and It’s Blessings - When your allies fail a Wisdom saving throw in range of Teachings of the Stubborn Tutor, the temporary hit points they gain is now 2d10, instead of double your rage bonus damage.
- Balance and Flow - When you use Ancient Fury, you can choose to give an ally either additional AC equal to your rage damage bonus or give them your rage damage bonus for their damage rolls.
- Death and Sacrifice - You can sacrifice an amount of hit points up to your Constitution score when you rage. You can only grant them to a willing ally. If there are points remaining after the initial heal, they are converted into temporary health.
