Path of the Drunken Brawler (5e Subclass)

Drunken Brawler

Barbarian

In your normal life, perhaps you’re a mild-mannered soldier, a harmless shopkeep, a mild mannered doctor. But you love to drink. It allows you to turn your brain off. To let your raw, emotional self out. And when you do, you become an animal, a force of uncontrollable rage and aggression.

Belligerent Drunk

When you choose this path at 3rd level, whenever you become drunk you enter a rage. Your rage ends when you fall unconscious, asleep, or vomit, if your rage would end naturally at the end of a minute, you vomit and your rage ends.

If this feature would cause you to rage more times than you are allotted according to the rages column in the barbarian table, you vomit and do not enter a rage.
Additionally on your turn, as a bonus action, you may drink from a flask or container enough to become drunk.

In addition, you are proficient with Unarmed strikes and your Unarmed attacks now equal to 1d6 + Strength modifier. This increases to 1d8 at Level 10 and to 1d10 at Level 14.

Dulled Senses

Beginning at 3th level, when entering into Rage, you gain an additional 1d12 + Constitution modifier of temporary HP. This temporary HP lasts as long as you are raging and would disappear the moment your rage ends.

Completely Hammered

Starting at 6th level, you are completely immune to being charmed or frightened whilst raging. If you are charmed or frightened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage. Your unarmed strikes are now also considered magical for the purposes of damage reduction and resistance.

Furious Drunk

Starting at level 10, when making an Unarmed attack whilst raging, your rage damage bonus is doubled.

The Hard Stuff

At 14th level, when entering into Rage, you now gain an additional 2d12 + (2 x Constitution modifier) of temporary HP. This temporary HP lasts as long as you are raging and would disappear the moment your rage ends.

gollark: Oh dear.
gollark: I'm not sure how much of the water was there initially versus produced via ??? chemistry later.
gollark: You might be able to get away with just altering Earth's formation so it didn't get as much water-related stuff.
gollark: Remove... water?
gollark: I'm pretty sure you'd have to do something inelegant and hacky like that to stop rainbows anyway.
