Path of Graceful Rage (5e Subclass)

Path of Graceful Rage

While most Barbarians would use their Rage to fuel their strength to overwhelm their foes, you are not most Barbarians, as you instead use your rage to fuel the dexterous and graceful movements you have honed through time and experience, driving your rage through a focused point to bring about the destruction of your foes.

Grace in Rage

You have learned to harness grace from rage. When you choose this path at 3rd level, the following effects now apply to you.

  • Rage - You instead have advantage on Dexterity Checks and Saving Throws. When you make a melee weapon Attack using Dexterity, you gain a +2 bonus to the damage roll. This bonus increases as you level as shown in the Barbarian table. Do note that when you make a melee weapon attack using Strength, you do not gain such bonus.
  • Danger Sense - Your ability to sense and dodge danger have been honed further. You have advantage on Dexterity Saving Throws against all Effects, regardless of whether you see them or you don't see them.
  • Reckless Attack - You now use Dexterity instead of Strength when choosing to attack recklessly, giving you advantage on melee weapon Attack rolls using Dexterity during this turn, but Attack rolls against you have advantage until your next turn. Do note that when you make a melee weapon attack using Strength, you do not gain such bonus.

Flow like Water, Crash like a Wave

At 6th level, your rage is like a rolling wave, fluid in its movements, but thunderous in it's destruction. You may now use your Bonus action to take a Dash or Dodge action.

In addition, your movement now ignores nonmagical difficult terrain, and you can travel at any pace without negative consequences.

Float like a Butterfly, Sting like a Hornet

Your rage now allows you to be even more fluid in your movements. Starting at 10th level, whenever you take the Dodge action, you also gain an additional +2 AC while doing so. Your speed also is increased by an additional 15 feet.

Overwhelming Grace

Barbaric grace and unrelenting finesse is now what your rage has become. At 14th level while raging, you may now add double your proficiency modifier in all Dexterity checks and saving throws.

gollark: But why?
gollark: Ooooh, a copper!
gollark: I've grabbed four eggs for NDing, but wow is getting the ToDs boring.
gollark: I mean, even if you only turn 1 in 8, you can run a batch of 8 every 4 days or so and hopefully get 1.
gollark: Running them in bulk?
