Combat

Parrots usually are not aggressive, but are not afraid to use their sharp talons when threatened. When a flock is attacked by a large creature, every member fights for himself, but against smaller creatures, the parrots band together.

Mimicry (ex): Every parrot is able to learn a set of a few simple sentences. A tamed or companion parrot can be ordered to use a number of standard sentences (Danger! Follow Parrot! Right! Left! Up! Down! North! South! East! West! Food! Water! Here! Make haste! Dead people! They’re Moving!) or a custom sentence of no more than 30 syllables. A single parrot can only know up to two custom sentences per hit die.

Skills: Parrots have a +8 racial bonus to listen.

gollark: They just jump straight to "stock exchanges are cool real life things, how do I make one". And ignore the older, duller, but still important stuff.
gollark: For example, if you buy stock in "GTech Stores", you'd expect to get dividends if I sell anything. But nobody has actually designed a mechanism for company krist accounts, paying dividends automatically, calculating profit, accounting and all that.
gollark: I think a key issue is that there's not really any mechanism for accounting and paying out profit.
