Oath of the Dragons

Paladin Subclass

Paladins that take the Oath of Dragons, believe that the dragons are gods and believe that they must be protected and worshipped no matter the cost. They are usually found traveling in search of any lost remains that connected to the past of dragons. Those who take this usually oath tend to have a personality being arrogant, proud, and honorable. They tend to believe that because their power was given by the ancient Dragon Gods it makes them superior to many others and they hold greater power.


Tenets of the Dragon

Duty. Defeat the Enemies of your Dragon Lord, and show them NO mercy.

Service. Protect and Serve the Dragons.

Honor. Take pride and show honor and worth to the name of Dragonkind.

Reverence. Respect the Draconic race and hold them in the Highest Regard.

Oath of the Dragon Spells

Channel Divinity

When you take this Oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Draconic Enhancement

You can use your channel divinity to Increase your strength by an extraordinary amount as claws grow out of your hands and feet. When used, add an half proficiency bonus to all saving throws, attack rolls, damage rolls, as well as ability checks for 1 minute.

Draconic Gift

You can use your channel divinity to cause yourself to grow wings and your senses rise. This gives you a flying speed of 30, blindsight of 20 feet as well as 120 of normal darkvision. This lasts for a duration of 10 minutes.

Elemental Aura

At 7th level choose an element between Fire, Lightning, Cold, or Acid. A light mist of a chosen type surrounds you and all friendly creatures within 10 feet of you add damage of that chosen type equal to your charisma modifier (minimum +1). Creatures can only benefit from this ability from one paladin at a time.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Draconic Emergence

Starting at 15th level, When brought down to a quarter of your health or lower a element of the 4 choices above come from your sword adding an additional die of that damage type. Additionally scales begin to appear on your skin increasing your AC by an amount equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of two) this lasts until your health reaches above half your health or after a minute. After this feature is used it can not be used until the end of a long rest.

Draconic Form

Starting at 20th level, the draconic blood inside of you fills with power and allows you to transform into an adult dragon of chosen choice. This feature cannot be used again until the end of a long rest.

gollark: AMD's drivers are at least open-source now.
gollark: In my experience they weren't really particularly stable across kernel updates.
gollark: The way Nvidia handles Linux seems to basically just be "provide some drivers which mostly work in certain configurations, and never support any newer interfaces for several years".
