Channel Divinity

When you take this Oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Weapons of destruction

As a bonus action, you can imbue one weapon weapon with divine power, using your Channel Divinity. For 1 minute, you add your Charisma modifier to damage rolls made with that weapon (with a minimum bonus of +1). If the weapon is not already magical, it becomes magical for the duration.

Warcry

As an action, you utter words of power, each hostile creature within 30 feet of you must make a wisdom saving throw. A creature takes radiant damage equal to 2d10 + your paladin level on a failed saving throw, and half as much damage on a successful one.

Sacrifice for power

Destruction comes with a price.

Begining at level 3 when you hit with a mele attack you can expend points of lay on hands equal to half your paladin level (rounded up) and add it to the damage dealt.

Aura of Chaos

Starting at 7th level you are surrounded with an aura of chaos that destroy everything it touches, whenever you or a friendly creature within 10 feet of you score a critical hit add one extra damage die from every source involved (i.e. one from a weapon and one for smite)

When you reach 18th level in this class, the range of the aura increases to 30 feet.

Unbreakable soul

Starting at 15th level, you become a imparable force that cannot be stopped. You gain the following benefits

  • You regain hit points equal to 1d8 + your Charisma modifier (minimum of +1) if you end your turn in combat with fewer than half of your hit points remaining and you aren't incapacitated.
  • When you are reduced to 0 hit points and are not killed outright, you can choose to drop to 1 hit point instead. Once you use this ability, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

The last chance to succeed

At 20th level, as an action, you focus all your power and life essence for a single moment to become an Avatar of chaos and destruction gaining the following benefits for 1 minute:

  • When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can make one additional attack as part of that action.
  • Whenever you hit a creature with a melee weapon, the creature takes an extra 1d8 radiant damage.
  • When you are reduced to 0 hit points, you can regain a number of hit points equal to half your hit point maximum instead.

At the end of this form you gain one level of Exhaustion and all attack rolls against you have advantage until your next turn.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

gollark: Lisp is basically where you take a functional dynamically typed language and replace all the syntax with nested brackets.
gollark: As such, exactly 3 people will buy it.
gollark: The trouble with this is that despite being HIGHLY ethical, it costs many times what new generally much more powerful laptops do.
gollark: Well, you could use micropython.
