Oath of Celibacy

Celibate Paladins traverse the world with a heavy burden. They are charged with the protection of others' sexuality from those who would do them harm. The Celibate attempts to propagate a community of acceptance and healing wherever their travels may take them.

Innuendo Sense

When you take this oath at 3rd level, your innate Divine Sense becomes more attuned to the misuse of blue magic. You can detect the surface thoughts of creatures within 15ft, and can discern Incubus/Succubus among fiends. Additionally, your Divine Sense can detect the presence of identifying Blue Magic.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following Channel Divinity options.

Purify Sexuality.

You perform an hour-long ritual, which imbues a willing target with magical effects for 24 hours:

  • You may restore or transition a creature's genitals. This effect becomes permanent if cast on the same target every day for 1 year.
  • The creature cannot impregnate nor be impregnated.
  • If the creature has a terminal illness or other disease, the symptoms are suspended for the duration.

This effect can be triggered through Channel Divinity, and it is also added to your options when casting the Ceremony spell.

Turn the Cruel.

As an action, you can force the enemies of consent to feel the weight of their actions, leaving them shaken and empty. A creature you target within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, it becomes stunned for 1 minute, as it attempts to mentally process all the consequences of its sinful actions. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.

Aura of Discipline

Starting at 7th level, any creature within 10 feet of you is immune to being charmed. At 18th level, this aura's range increases to 30 feet.

Starting at 15th level, you have the ability to protect others from being violated. As an action, you may target a number of creatures equal to you Charisma modifier, protecting them for as long as you can maintain concentration or until they make an attack. While a creature is protected, whenever it is targeted by an attack or a harmful spell, the attacker must first make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the attacker must choose a new target or lose the attack or spell. The protected creature also has advantage on any dice roll made to counteract Enchantment or Illusion spells but is not saved from damaging spells with an area of effect.

After using this protection, you must complete a Short or Long Rest before you can do it again.

Avatar of the Virgin

At 20th level, you can fully channel the innate power of your virginity.

  • You have advantage on all saving throws against spells.
  • Your Shield of Consent can be used an unlimited number of times and does not require concentration.

gollark: It works in Chrome.
gollark: Well, I haven't reinstalled firefox, but it's been updated since this problem started, and I have restarted the server program.
gollark: Vaguely relatedly, if anyone knows what's going on with the websockets, tell me or else before I have to try and figure out how to work wireshark.
