Nimbus

"The Nimbus rarely leave their home in the sky, but when they do, things can sometimes be out of hand."

Physical Description

History

Nimban history dates back to near enough the beginning of time. However, it is rather complicated to explain.

Nimbus Names

Nimbuses usually go by human names, yet they have their own names from the other Nimbuses. Most, if not all of them are generally unpronounceable to other races.

Nimbus Traits=

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2.
Age. Nimbuses age in a complicated way, and do so much slower than the clouds they are born from. They claim maturity at around the same age as humans, but only live to be about forty at most.
Alignment. Nimbuses generally like to alter the weather to their will, and as such can sometimes be pretty chaotic. Most Nimbuses tend to stay neutral, though.
Size. Nimbuses can range from 4 feet to just over 5 feet tall, and weigh practically nothing. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet. You also have a flying speed of 50 feet.
Nimban Magic. Thanks to your heritage, you can temporarily alter the climate. Once per day, you can cast Control Weather with this trait, requiring no material components. Once you use this trait, you cannot use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
Elemental. Your race type is both Elemental and Humanoid.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Auran and Nimban. Nimbuses use the Nimban language to speak with each other - it takes a long time to properly learn the language for yourself, unless you already are a Nimbus.

gollark: You wouldn't actually see the beams, for one thing, as far as I know.
gollark: "Big laser weapons on spaceships" probably could exist, I guess. Though they probably wouldn't really look like that.
gollark: What do they actually *do*, though?
gollark: Can you be more specific? IIRC Star Trek phasers did a gazillion random things depending on plot convenience.
gollark: I'm hoping there's some comparatively cheap way to at least mitigate the climatic issues, because otherwise it seems unlikely that (without massive societal change of some kind) much will be done.
