Nezumi (5e Race)
Nezumi-bito (Ratfolk)
The Nezumi are a race of anthropomorphic rats native to Kamigawa. They live in the bogs of the Takenuma swamp and on the outskirts of human cities like Numai, sometimes raiding those cities for supplies or fun. They often have the Rogue class. Some Nezumi spellcasters use incantations to summon and control insects to swarm and distract their enemies.
Physical Description
The Nezumi-bito or Ratfolk have a physical build similar to a human however they tend to be thin, wiry and shorter than average height around 4 or 5ft. They have a long semi-prehensile tail which portrudes from their backs however it is not tactile enough to allow them to do anything past simple tasks such as close a door or tap someone on the shoulder. Their eyes constantly dart around, and the nose and mouth may twitch if they get excited. Males often have thin, ragged mustaches. Nezumi like most ratfolk have a thick, straight, wire like white-ish grey fur all over their body, except on their Hands, feet and tails.
Nezumi-bito (Ratfolk) Names
Nezumi names are usually genderless and instead describe a feature or personality aspect eg an albino nezumi may be called Red-Eyes. However some have been known to take human names from time to time.
