  • Netrous is the supreme god of the needlebacks always active for better or worse. he is there life bringer after all. when the needleback cult were left for dead Netrous transformed them and hid them in them in the underdark. his one purpose to keep the needlbacks safe forever.
  • netrous lives in a special room of needle-core palace (the not so creatively named palace at the core of underdark) the room contains his special collection of birth needles. netrous is very over protective of the needlebacks and will kill all who threaten to hurt them without a second thought.
  • netrous looks like a human-needleback combo. a human body covered in needles.
  • he is a fair ruler so nobody has plans to over throw him except for dormius god of war and death. dormius thinks the needlbacks should fight the all the people of the material plane for throwing the needlebacks into the underdark but netrous thinks that not all of them should die not the especially not the children
  • there are many forms of worship but the most significant one is birth needles. when a needleback is born the parents take him/her to a netrous shrine for a priest of netrous to take the baby's biggest spike and sacrifice it to netrous. most priests of netrous follow his keep needlebacks safe aspect but some follow his destroy all who harm needlebacks aspect.
  • netrous makes an appearance in "rise of the needlebacks
  • netrous is the power from above that strikes down any foe. a lot of magic comes from him but he doesn't have any artifacts giving them all to the needlebacks for protection.
