Nanogene Dispenser (3.5e Equipment)

Nanogene Dispenser: This machine, when activated and passing a DC 15 use magic device check, sprays a 10 ft. cone of nanogenes (tiny medical robots) in the direction it's pointed. They work to heal any race in their database. They double all healing effects, regeneration, and maximize breath of life. However, if they don't have the creature's race cataloged, they work from what they have. Example: A group of nanogenes find a dying drider with a rapier in it's hand and a cut over it's head. They may fix up the drider, but, its' hand now has a rapier sticking out of it and a scar on its' head. That particular colony now believes that drow and driders are supposed to look like that, and they heal all drow to look like that. You can manually program races into their database so that they don't make that mistake. Programming the mainframe requires either a DC 20 check in disable device, where it takes 24 hours to program the machine, or a DC 15 linguistics check that takes 2 hours of work. The machine holds up to 500 charges, and requires 5 feet of space to placed.
