Mysterious Ranger

Class: Ranger

Level: 1st

Replaces: Favored Enemy, Wild Empathy, Combat Style, the ability to cast spells, Improved Combat Style, and Combat Style Mastery

Benefit:

Shrouded in Shadow (Su):: The mysterious ranger's face is always hidden if he wears a hooded cloak. This shroud cannot be penetrated by magical means or any sight. The shroud also makes it easier for him to avoid being seen granting him a +1 dodge bonus to AC and a +1 luck bonus to Hide checks. This bonus improves by +1 every 5 levels (Making it +2 at 5th level, and so on).

Listener in the Shadows (Ex): Gather Information checks take only 1d6 x 10 minutes for the mysterious ranger. He also gains a +2 competence bonus on Listen checks, and an additional +3 if he is hidden.

Archery Combat Style: At second level, the mysterious ranger gains Rapid Shot as a bonus feat, whether or not he meets the prerequisites.

Bonus Feat: At 4th, 8th, 11th, and 14th levels, the mysterious ranger gains a bonus feat from the following list (he must meet all prerequisites for the feat): Able Sniper, Danger Sense, Dash, Far Shot, Great Fortitude, Greater Manyshot, Improved Initiative, Improved Rapid Shot, Lightning Reflexes, Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Quick Reconnoiter, Ranged Disarm, Ranged Pin, Rapid Reload, Shot on the Run, and Woodland Archer.

Improved Archery Combat Style: At 6th level, a mysterious ranger gains Manyshot as a bonus feat, whether or not he meets the prerequisites.

Archery Combat Style Mastery: At 11th level, a mysterious ranger gains Improved Precise Shot as a bonus feat, whether or not he meets the prerequisites.
