Your party is walking down a path at night on your way to the nearest city. You come across a group of adventurers blocking the path, as you approach one of them walks up to you. He looks like a large human-like rat standing on it's hind legs. He stops a few feet from your party and says, "Good Evening to you all. I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to surrender your valuables." the others of his group draw hidden bows and point them at your party.

More information...

This character stands just over 3 f.t tall and weighs about 50lbs with a slender build. He has the head of rat, but stands on two hind legs. He is covered in dark fur. He has a mane starting at the back of his neck and ending in a large triangular puff at the end of his long, fleshy, pink tail. He has human like arms with three fingers and a thumb on each hand. He wears leather armor and cotton slacks and wields a dagger like a larger character might a short sword.

Combat

He will fight like any other rogue, letting other characters take the front line, then flanking the enemy for the extra sneak attack damage. If things start looking down in a fight he will try to escape, if that isn't possible he'll surrender, and rarely ever fight to the death.

gollark: Notably, English words do not actually mean the same thing as the roots might imply, in cases where there even are obvious ones.
gollark: Just because your language theoretically has words composed of subwords doesn't mean you can ignore the various problems I mentioned (except possibly the grammar one). And "convert the words to semantic expressions" hides a lot of the complexity this would involve.
gollark: I'm pretty sure I've seen diagrams of pronounceable things of some kind, but they're more complex than just permutations of "high tone, low tone" and do not conveniently map to concepts.
gollark: What do you mean "all of the possible forms of a square diagram with two or more sides"? There are infinitely many of those. And how do I just pronounce a diagram without a predetermined mapping?
gollark: Also, I have no idea what an "objective → semantic buffer" is and I think you're underestimating the difficulty of implementing whatever it is.
