Physical Description

The mukha-vale are described as having four long arms, such that they reach past their hips. They are lanky creatures, able to move about a ships masts with relative ease and speed, if trained properly. The truly defining feature, however, of any mukha-vale is the mask that is bound to their face. Without it, they cannot eat, breathe, speak, or even function. To remove a mask from a still-living specimen is said to incur the wrath of a god, they call him Alf-Wahid. The masks themselves range anywhere from simple, child-like carvings to intricate, symbolic gestures to the divine and infernal, inlaid with precious stones and metals.

gollark: I think destruction of civilization or whatever would be quite a bad thing.

gollark: Ah.
