Mipha's Grace

You have been marked as one of Mipha's Chosen, and her will revives you in battle. Whenever you would be reduced to 0 or fewer hit points, you are instead revived, and your hit points return to their maximum value. Once you have benefited from this feature, you cannot benefit from it again until you take a long rest.

Spellcasting

As a conduit of Mipha's power, you can cast spells from the Mipha's Chosen spell list.

Cantrips

At 1st level, you know one cantrip of your choice from the Mipha's Chosen spell list. You learn additional Mipha's Chosen cantrips of your choice at higher levels, as shown in the Cantrips Known column of the Mipha's Chosen table.

Spells

At 1st level, you know four spells of 1st level of your choice from the Mipha's Chosen spell list. At 3rd level, you can choose 2nd-level spells, at 5th level, you can choose 3rd-level spells, at 7th level, you can choose 4th-level spells, and at 9th level, you can choose 5th-level spells. You learn additional Mipha's Chosen spells of your choice at higher levels, as shown in the Spells Known column of the Mipha's Chosen table.

Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one spell you know with another from the Mipha's Chosen spell list.

Zora Magic

At 1st level, you have 1 point Zora Magic, and you gain additional points at higher levels, as shown in the Zora Magic column of the Mipha's Chosen table. You can use your Zora Magic to cast spells of 5th-level and lower that you know (even those that are not provided by this class). To do so, you must expend a number of Zora Magic points equal to the level of the spell. You regain any expended Zora Magic points whenever you finish a short or long rest.

Spellcasting Ability

Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your Mipha's Chosen spells. The power of your spells comes from Mipha's benevolence. You use your Wisdom whenever a Mipha's Chosen spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Wisdom modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a Mipha's Chosen spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

  • Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier
  • Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier

Avenge the Fallen

At 2nd level, you can defend your companions from the onslaught of their foes when the strain of battle becomes to heavy. Whenever a friendly creature that you can see dies or is reduced to 0 or fewer hit points, you can make an attack as a reaction against a creature that caused it to die or be reduced to 0 or fewer hit points. This attack can take the form of a cantrip you know.

Ability Score Increase

When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. You can't increase an ability score above 24 using this feature.

Blessing of Mipha

At 6th level, you can keep the ones you love from death. Whenever a friendly creature is reduced to 0 or fewer hit points or would make a death saving throw, you can use your reaction to bless it. You must concentrate on this blessing as if you were concentrating on a spell, but you can concentrate on it indefinitely. While blessed in this way, a creature has resistance to all damage and cannot fail death saving throws. Additionally, any healing the creature receives while under this blessing increases by your Mipha's Chosen level. The blessing ends once a creature returns to at least 1 hit point.

Once you have used this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once), you must complete a long rest before you can use it again.

Share the Grace

Starting at 7th level, you aren't the only one to benefit from your mistress's grace. You learn Death Ward if you didn't already know it, and it doesn't count against your spells known. Whenever you cast it, a target creature instead comes under the effects of your Mipha's Grace feature for the duration.

Mipha's Protection

At at 10th level, the protection granted by Mipha extends even to those around you. You gain an invisible magical aura in a 30-foot sphere around you. Any creature in the aura of your choice cannot have an AC lower than 10 + your Wisdom modifier. Additionally, whenever a creature in the aura would take damage, you can choose to take that damage instead.

When a willing creature in the aura would be reduced to 0 or fewer hit points, you can use your reaction to cause it to drop to only 1 hit point instead. Once you have used this ability, you must complete a short or long rest before you can use it again.

gollark: Idea: one of those grid-y esolangs, but in 4D.
gollark: Import a module, not just copy the entire text of a file into the code.
gollark: Or C++'s horrific "just import the whole text of files" #includes.
gollark: If we're borrowing stuff from other languages, also add PHP's awful $ before variable names thing.
gollark: So, PHP?
