Midas' Touch (5e Spell)

Accomplishing what alchemists have strived to reach for centuries, you have finally learned how to turn any material into gold. You touch a surface made of a single material and turn it into solid gold. You are able to turn an area of 3375 cubic ft. (15 ft. in every direction) into solid gold worth 100 gp per cubic ft.

Midas' Touch
9th-level Transmutation (ritual)
Casting time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Components: V, S, M (a chunk of lead worth 50,000 gp, which the spell consumes)
Duration: Instantaneous

If you use this on a living creature, they must make a Constitution saving throw against your Spell Save DC. Upon failure, they begin to turn to solid gold over the course of three rounds. This can be prevented by using Greater Restoration or a Wish spell on the target.
