A wave of negative energy washes out from a point you choose within range. Each creature within a 30-foot radius of that point must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 8d8 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, this spell's damage increases by 1d8 for every level after 5th.
