Divine Rank. Lesser Deity
Malolo is the goddess of poison and disease in the Trifadishti pantheon. She has dark skin and wears nothing but a wooden tribal mask over her face and chest. She is holding a frog in her left hand and a red needle in her left. She is considered the originator of practices such as voodoo and true witchcraft. She is always hunched and although one cannot see her face, she appears sick from how her skin appears.
Malolo teachings are hard to comprehend for the sane and good, but essentially she teaches that bringing harm and sickness to others will save you from the same fate. So if your crops are dying the appropriate solution is to poison or burn the crops of another to gain her good fortune. Thus her followers are hated even more than some of the evil old gods followers for their toxicity and violent tendencies.
Malolo's shrines are always in places that commonly grow poisonous plants or have many poisonous animals such as swamps, caves and deep in the heart of deserts. These shrines are said to bear witness to a host of mortal torture and sacrifice and many destroy these shrines if they discover them in the wilds.
