Magic Wrought (5e Subclass)

Magic Wrought

Your magic may not have been granted by an ancient bloodline or divine blessing. The very magic you possess is infused into your very being whether through some magical anomaly or attunement to the planes.

Secrets of the Arcane

Your magic has bestowed you with extraordinary gifts. Beginning at 1st level, you gain proficiency in the Arcana skill. Additionally, you learn one extra cantrip from the Sorcerer spell list. These spells don’t count against your number of spells or cantrips known.

Elemental Shaping

Beginning at 6th level, when you cast a spell with a spell slot and the spell deals acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, or thunder damage you can substitute that damage type with one other type from that list (you can change only one damage type per casting of a spell). Additionally, after using this ability if you spend 2 sorcery points, you can cover your body with the remainder of the magic used in the spell. Creatures who hit you with a melee attack or touch you take damage of the type you chose equal to your Charisma modifier. This feature lasts for one minute, until you fall unconscious, or until you choose to end it (no action required).

Arcane Sight

The magic in your soul presses on your senses. At 14th level, you can sense the presence of magic and learn its school if any. Additionally, you can see invisible creatures out to a range of 30ft, and you can identify the properties of a magical item as long as you handle it for one minute.

Weave Spinner

At 18th level, you gain advantage on all saves against magic and have resistance to damage caused by spells and magical effects. Additionally, when you use your Elemental Shaping to cloak yourself, you gain resistance to the chosen damage type and deal damage equal to half your sorcerer level instead.
