Mage plate is a combination of chain links smelted from Mithral overlapping sliver-like layers of a rare material called obsidian; found inside of remote volcanoes, making a suit of armor that is both incredibly light and still hard enough to protect against attacks while the Obsidian allows for Arcane spells to function as normal while being worn.

Cost: 2700gp; Light; AC Bonus: +4; Max Dex: +5; Armor Check Penalty: -1; Arcane Spell Failure: 0%; Speed 30' (30’); Wt 10 lb.
