This page needs grammatical help. Reason: lesser aura needs to be detailed appropriately, or the spell needs its own page and linked to. Similar to greater aura. race names are not capitalized unless at the beginning of a sentence. Mega Evolution has listed an ability but no reference in the traits. Bone rush needs mechanics written in the description of spell needs its own article and the bone rush trait links to it in the description.

Riolu and Lucario

Physical Description

Riolus and Lucarios are bipedal, canine-like Pokémon that harness arcane energy to strike their foes with ferocity and power unlike any other race has seen.

Riolus look familiarly to small pups that are predominantly blue and black, with a small white ring that encircles its neck. Similarly white bumps protrude from the backs of their forepaws. It has a small tail of the same blue color, and stands on its toes rather than on its entire foot. It bears two red eyes, two pointed ears and a snout, and on the sides of its head are two small black appendages, one on each side, that allow it to detect and manipulate aura.

On the other hand, their older counterpart Lucarios resemble a jackal with similar fur, but now bears cream-colored chest fur. Its bumps now become short, round spikes, and in addition a third becomes visible on its chest. Its tail increases length along with its body, and still stands on its toes rather than on its entire foot. The two small appendages that were on the sides of its head now move the back and increase to four, being two on each side.

These bipedal creatures have been known to possess reversed fur colors, with it's originally cream-colored fur being blue and it's usually blue fur colored gold, and the black lightens in pitch to a more ashen color. Though this fur pattern exists, it is extremely rare.

History

Lucarios, and their pups known as Riolu, were discovered in the mountains of Sinnoh. They are a race of creatures that love combat and refine their fighting skills and tend to fight unarmed, using their aura and other abilities to face their foes.

While Riolus and Lucarios live predominantly in the wild, they can be taken in by other humanoids Pokemon refer to as Trainers. This has become a trend among all Pokemon races (whether it be mentioned on the different Pokemon Wiki pages or not, and is meant to be an optional trait to add flavor into your character).

Society

Lucarios and Riolus tend to live in packs deep in the mountains, although they will exhibit extreme loyalty to anyone who befriends them. They also possess a strong sense of justice, protecting law among their packs. The appendages that protrude from the back of its head allow it to detect and manipulate auras, as well as emanates its own aura to communicate how it feels to others of its kind. Some Lucario are said to be so good that they can sense the aura of creatures up to half a mile away through intense training and skill honing. They are society of combat oriented creatures, which they believe that training is a very important part of their daily orientation.
