Play a twilight lizardfolk if you want...
- To be a savage humanoid journeying into a civilized world
- To be a member of a xenophobic species learning to cope with other races
- To be a member of a race that favours the cleric, druid, and sorcerer classes.
Physical Qualities
As a small race, twilight lizardfolk are often mistaken to be fragile creatures. They have a tough coating of scales, however, and are very nimble. They come in various patterns and colors depending on their lineage. They have no eyelids, and have large round eyes. They also have a prehensile tail from birth, but when they are attacked by large predators, they often drop their tail to distract the creature. As a result, most adults do not have tails.
Playing a Twilight Lizardfolk
Twilight lizardfolk prefer the jungles to anywhere else and are very reluctant to leave their tribes. Because of this, Adventurers among them are very rare and tend to be very untrusting of other races. When they do leave their home lands, be it that their tribe was destroyed or they just left, they tend to either fully embrace their heritage or completely discard it. Those that embrace their heritage are usually wilderness bases classes such as druids and rangers. Those that discard it often take more urban and arcane magic classes such as warlocks, rogues, and wizards.

Twilight Lizardfolk Adventurers
Three sample twilight lizardfolk adventurers are described below.
Ak-Ma-Ka is a self-named twilight lizardfolk warlock. He considers himself to be the greatest creature of his species. When his village was attacked by a black dragon that the village had refused to pay tribute to, he was the sole survivor, defeating the dragon with a sudden unexpected surge of arcane magic. This magic was actually a secret gift given to Ak-Ma-Ka from a devil. The devil hopes to capitalize on his arrogance by sending messages to him as if it were the power of magic itself speaking to Ak-Ma-Ka. He now follows these messages, developing his power as a warlock, all the while being a tool of the devil.
Ak-Na was the leader of a powerful tribe of twilight lizardfolk. When he failed to save his brother's life during a hunt, he was shunned from his tribe as punishment for his failure. He now travels the world in hopes to gain greater strength as a leader so that he can return to his rightful place as leader of his tribe.
Trr-Kz is one of the most talented hunters of his tribe. He has become bored of hunting the prey in the jungles and craves more difficult prey found in the farthest reaches of the world. He is now beginning his journey to hunt down the most difficult prey, whatever that may be.
