Class Features

Electrical Resistance (Ex): With their own electricity running through their veins the Lightning Savant is more resistant to other electrical attacks.

Lightning Strike (Su): The Lightning Savant's electrical charge allows him to wrap his arms and fists in electricity adding electrical damage to his weapons and unarmed attacks. If unarmed he can treat it like a touch attack on his opponent, and he gains a +3 to attack and damage enemies carrying a lot of metal. This ability can also be used to damage opponents whilst grappling.

Static Charge (Su): With all the electricity running through the Lightning Savant's body he begins to move at a quicker pace than a normal person of his race, speed increased by 10 at level 2, 20 at level 5, and 30 at level 8.

Lightning Bolt (Sp): At the peak of his power the Lightning Savant can channel his Lightning Strike into bolts of lightning much like the lightning bolt spell as many as 1+ 1/2 Lightning Savant class level per day

Rainstorm (Su): Upon reaching this level the Lightning Savant is constantly effects the weather around him, constantly causing it to rain. This ability can be suppressed as long as he concentrates on doing so. The rainstorm also gives any electrical attack a +3 to damage and to hit

Lightning Leap (Sp): Treated like the Spell from the Complete Mage. The Lightning Savant can use this ability 1+ 1/2 his Lightning Savant class level a day.

Ex-Lightning Savants

Playing a Lightning Savant

Combat: Although most are loners, when they work with other people a Lightning Savant normally stands on the frontline dodging in and out of the actual fray utilizing his attacks to take out distracted foes as quickly as possible. Advancement: Quite a few Lightning Savant's started as Sorcerers or have at least a few level of Sorcerer. A few Monk/Sorcerer's become Lightning Savants as well adding the electrical damage to their all ready good hand to hand skills and the extra speed of the Monk.

Resources: Lightning Savants are self taught and most could really care less about others of their kind unless they mean them harm. They tend to be a little more understanding of each other though, since they all have a love for electricity.

gollark: But it definitely would't *work* in anything.
gollark: I mean, maybe esolangs which work by character and ignore invalid ones, sort of thing.
gollark: Seriously. I don't think that's valid syntax in *any programming language at all*.
gollark: That would literally work in no programming languages.
gollark: <@630513495003103242> It's true. Abigail multiplexed your online CSS transistor, which obviously overrode your primary TCP antennas, so now you're almost entirely disconnected to the internet. And there's nothing you can do about it.
