Lightning Guard (4e Creature)

The Lightning Guardian is a cunning and arcane creature that once was human. Now, it's fused with the essence of a dragon, marking it as a creature not unlike the dragonspawn.

This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Numbers are off (a level 1 artillery would not have AC 18, attack values are off); it doesn't need two basic melee powers

You can help D&D Wiki by better balancing the mechanics of this page. When the mechanics have been changed so that this template is no longer applicable please remove this template. If you do not understand balance please leave comments on this page's talk page before making any edits.

More information...

Lightning Guardian Tactics

A Lightning Guardian opens with Arc, aiming for the two strongest foes. He then stays back, but will dart forward with Claw if the opportunity arises to recharge Arc. If forced into extended melee, the Lightning Guardian will use Jolt unless bloodied, in which case it uses Claw to recharge HP.

Lightning Guardian Lore

A character knows the following information with a successful Religion check.

DC 15: The Lightning Guardian is a Dragonborn/blue dragon fusion. It has lost all intelligence, and merely waits for prey to stumble in.

DC 20: The Lightning Guardian fights with electricity-based attacks, notably a shot that arcs between foes. It will occasionally enter melee combat in order to drain energy to provide power for its Arc attack, and does the same in melee to restore health.

DC 25: It was created by a cult that worships a cat-dragon thing.

gollark: It's reasonably general purpose and is used happily by some people! You may not like it but it is good for some.
gollark: Lies!
gollark: Anyway, there may be HDMI→whatever weird connector the display uses converter boards on eBay or something.
gollark: Yes, the Raspberry Pi is very evil that way with display/camera support.
