Biology

An adult Koteshki Kolju ranges in size from 9.5 inches to 90 feet. They all have snow white fur and foggy blue eyes. Their fur is that of a short-haired feline; its tail, however, is large and fluffy just like a fox's tail. On the cat's back, there is what appears to be a scar or a tattoo of a cat skull. This skull is often closed. Upon opening, it looks like a black void. Its tail can expand to great lengths to wrap around any size prey. These creatures are born blind; while being unable to see from the eyeballs, their eyes, taste, and touch have adapted to be able to sense anything (creatures and terrain). They, however, can't see water that well so they have never learned to swim. They are also born with two souls. Once the Koteshki Kolju dies, the soul of the skull on its back takes over the full skeleton of the cat. After taking control, it crawls out of the skin and becomes an undead Koteshki Kolju Skeleton. The creature can either be killed or brought back to life; if it's brought back, it looks like a normal cat (still blind); it loses the skull on it's back but still has te ability to expand its tail.

Language

They only speak feline, however, they have the ability to understand any language they hear.

Environment

Depending on their size - the land they inhabit changes. When tiny, small, or medium they live in cities around people. From Large to Colossal; they are found in a snow forest or on a snowy mountain.

Society

Just like normal cats, the Koteshki Kolju find being solitary more comfortable. However, there are cases in which they are found in large groups called colonies.

Relationships

Koteshki Kolju's can form a relationship with any species. They are more commonly social with felines (domesticated or wild), wolves, coyotes, foxes, wolverines, honey badges, and any humanoid races.

Alignment

Sometimes these creatures are believed to be unaligned, however, they just do whatever pleases them. So while alive, they are any neutral. When they become an undead skeleton - the alignment is always neutral evil. When brought back to life, their alignment goes back to any neutral.

Combat

When solitary, they prefer to sneak up and pounce on their prey. Sometimes they will also use their tail to trip the prey or wrap around it. If in a colony, they tend to hoard a herd (elk/deer/buffalo), gaze (raccoons), a team (boars), and even mischief (rats) into an opening. This easily supplies the whole colony for five days to a week.

Companions

Just like a normal stray cat, the Koteshki Kolju can become domesticated (given that it's fed meat). Once taken on as a companion (or familiar), they obtain +2 Strength, -1 Dexterity, +5 Intelligence, +3 Wisdom. A large+ size Koteshki Kolju can be trained as a mount.

gollark: I am not insulting you, merely your belief system.
gollark: I mean, most of the gods in popular religions are terrible somehow.
gollark: Yes, the Christian god is also horribly unethical with the whole "hell" mess.
gollark: The superior species is obviously octopi.
gollark: This is yet another vaguely ridiculous assumption.
