A turtle-like humanoid runs towards you and goes inside it's shell, spinning rapidly closer.

Koopa Troopas are the center of Bowser's Koopa Troop. They usually are part of his army, some live in peace with the Toads and other races of the Marioverse in places like Koopa Village and Petalburg, where it is also found with Pokemon.

Combat

Koopa Troopas spin towards their enemies to begin attacking. They follow up with claw attacks and more spin attacks.
