Kitsune half-blood (5e Subrace)
Japanese Kitsune Subrace
you are the child of a human and a kitsune you have have gained most of your physical traits from your human parent save for fox ears and tails your hair and fur color is determined by your alignment: reddish brown for neutral, silver for good, gold for evil. the number of tails you have is determined by a dice roll of either 3d3 or a 1d6+1d3 or a number based on the dm's choice minimum of 1. the number of tails effects the number of fox fire motes you have.
The following traits replace the standard human traits.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity increases by 1 and Charisma increases by 2.
Fox Fire. you have 2 per tail motes of flame the color of the motes is determined by your alignment purple for chaotic, blue for neutral, white for lawful.the motes do not provide light but can be seen and can be made to disappear at your command. these motes deal fire damage equal to your charisma modifier to attackers only one mote per attack made. you may expend motes to add 1 per mote fire damage to attacks and spells you cast. The motes restore at a rate of 1 per round.
Light Step. you move with grace and skill. Climbing speed is equal to your walking speed. you don"t trigger pressure plates or pitfalls.
Truesight. Due to your magical heritage, you have the ability to see the world as it really is. At level 1 you can see normally in magical or non-magical darkness out to 30 feet as if the area was in bright light. At level 3, when you are within 10 feet of a visual illusion you automatically detect their true nature and succeed on saving throws against them. Also, within 10 feet you determine the true form of a shapechanger or a creature transformed by magic. At level 10, when you are within 10 feet of an invisible creature or a magically hidden door or object, you can see them. At level 20, double the range of all of your Truesight abilities.
Beguile. you have learned to manipulate what people see you have advantage on Sleight of Hand checks and are proficient with Deception.
