Ignika

History

Ignika are humans that were born on the plane relating to their element, and so, are naturally infused with said element. Neither human nor elemental, these beings are shunned by both races and so either accept this fact and live with others of their kind, or ignore their fate and choose to either try to fit in with humanity (often met with catastrophic failure), or live in seclusion with the elemental beings that inhabit their natural plane.

Personality

Ignika are even more varied than humans, as their natural elements cause each one to act slightly different. Light Ignika tend to be more orderly and holy, Dark Ignika tend to be more chaotic and prone to malice, fire ignika tend to passionate and focused, water ignika tend to be more calm and peaceful, air ignika are jovial and free spirited, ice ignika are cold and aloof, earth ignika are quiet and observant and stone ignika are loyal and trustworthy

Physical Description

Ignika vary in skin color, height, weight, hair color and traits more than any other race with vibrant colors befitting their element, red for fire, white for ice, blue for water, brown for earth and yellow for lightning, their height and weight exagerated to the extremes of a normal human body. The only thing that ties them together are the tattoo-like patterns that cross their arms, chest, legs and/or back. Other than that, they appear almost human.

Relations

Due to the differences in their elements, and differences in their personalities, each one deals with other races in their own way.

Alignment

Most Ignika can be of any Alignment, however Darkness and Light Ignika have restrictions. Darkness Ignika must be of Chaotic or Evil alignment, and Light Ignika must be of Good or Lawful alignment.

Lands

Ignika tend to either live in tribal communities where they all have the same element, or try to blend in with nearby groups of humans or elves.

Religion

Ignika worship the earth and elements over any gods or pantheons.

Language

Ignika speak Igniko instinctively, and know any regional languages in order to communicate with other races. They almost always learn the language associated with their element, and will also try to learn any languages of regions they travel to.

Names

Ignika receive their names when they first manifest their powers. They instinctively know this name, and obtain any titles or surnames by deeds or patronage.
