Humans, Steelhive (3.5e Race)

Steelhive Humans

Personality

Steelhive humans have large vocabularies, but speak only when completely necessary. A civilian will be dull and uninteresting, and will usually busy themselves with some menial task if they have nothing to do, even just for the exercise. A officer will be even more silent, but will be quick to give orders to those around him, even if those ordered do not consider themselves under his command. Elders will not communicate in any way.

Physical Description

Height and weight are identical to normal humans. Having lived underground in darkness, they have pale white skin.

Relations

The Steelhive's relations with other races are simple. They ignore neutral parties, assimilate anyone willing, and elimate threats. They have no biases based on race.

Alignment

They are usually Lawful.

Lands

They live in a vast underground city, which they call Steelhive. They have temporary settlements overground for guarding territory and scouting for hostiles. In the center of Steelhive is the Hivemind, which connects any people with radiotelepathy in a certain radius to a fully connected emotion network. Those with more advanced radiotelepathy may lose their concept of individual body, mind, and existence. Within the massive radio/computer that forms the Hivemind, elders live. The only flesh left on thier metallic forms is scrap of their brains, with a heart and one lung to keep it alive. The elders have a Cha score of 0, or no Cha score, DM's choice. They give orders through the Hivemind to "lesser" creatures. Because the elders don't have a concept of themselves, there is no corruption within the Steelhive government.

Religion

Steelhive Humans believe that if a god exists, it does not care whether they worship it or not, so they don't waste time worshiping it.

Language

Whatever Humans normally speak in your campaign.

gollark: What if I want to send someone a link to their position?

gollark: Oh, there it is!
gollark: No, but I'll check some headers.
