Hindering Light (5e Spell)
When this spell is cast, a beam of light shines down in front of you, allowing you to stop a creature from altering your mind or body with a spell. If it is casting a spell that would affect only you and the spell doesn't deal damage or cause you to die, the spell fails and has no effect. For example, the charm person spell fits this criteria, but the grease, fireball, and power word kill spells do not.
