Class Features

All of the following are class features of the Hengeyokai Paragon.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Hengyokai paragons are proficient with all simple weapons and with light armor.

Spellcasting: At 2nd and 3rd level, a Hengeyokai paragon gains new spells per day (and spells known, if applicable) as if he had also gained a level in a spellcasting class he belonged to before adding the level. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained (bonus metamagic or item creation feats, bard or assassin abilities, and so on). This essentially means that he adds the level of Hengeyokai paragon to the level in the spellcasting class, then determines spells per day, spells known, and caster level accordingly.

If a character had more than one spellcasting class before he became a Hengeyokai paragon, he must decide to which class he adds each level of Hengeyokai paragon. If a Hengeyokai paragon has no levels in a spellcasting class, this class feature has no effect.

Speed Enhancement (Ex): At 1st level all Natural forms of movement a Hengeyokai Paragon has are increase by 10ft. For example a Carp Hengeyokai in Human form has a 40ft land speed, in Carp form has a 20ft swim speed, and in Hybrid form has a 30ft land speed and a 40ft swim speed. Any types of movement gained through spells, spell effects, magic items, or as features of another class do not benefit from this increase in speed.

Quick Change (Su): At 2nd level a Hengeyokai Paragon can shift between Human, Hybrid, and animal forms as a standard action instead of the usual full round action. In addition, they may shift an additional number of times per day for each level in hengeyokai paragon. For example, a 5th-level wu-jen / 2nd-level hengeyokai paragon can shift between forms a total of 10 times per day (7HD+1+2 class levels)

Ability Boost (Ex): At 3rd level a Hengeyokai Paragon increases an ability score by 2 points in all forms, this ability score is the same one that is increased in Hybrid form. A special exception is the Crab Hengeyokai which gains +2 Natural armor in all forms.

gollark: Oh right, the VFS thing.
gollark: What *is* heavlisp? Should I be worried?
gollark: Why does potatOS have a half-finished heavlisp integration?
gollark: Oh, there we go, remembered it.
gollark: Oops. I seem to have forgotten the encryption key for the potatOS signing key.
