Goobear is a gigantic bear shaped creature created through the misuse of a powerful water orb. Goobear tends to seek out pockets of civilization as sources of food. It will devour even entire cities in it's lust for food.

Goobear is about 125 feet long and is estimated to weigh 400 tons.

Combat

Goobear attacks with a combination of bites, claws, and slams. its acid will quickly dissolve any buildings that it crawls over.

Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, Goobear must hit with a claw attack. It can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity.

Area Attack (Ex): Goobear swipes both paws near to the ground. Area: a half-circle with a radius of 25'. Goobear deals 2d8+40 plus 2d6 acid damage to all creatures within the area. Goobear suffers -2 to AC & Ref saves until his next action.

Crush(Ex): Goobear slams his body into the ground, dealing 4d8+40 plus 2d4 acid to all creatures underneath Goobear. They must make a Ref save (DC 53) or be pinned & take crush damage until they free themselves with a successful grapple check.

Awesome Blow(Ex): Goobear makes a single attack at -4. if it hits, the affected creature must make a Ref save (DC = damage) or be thrown 10' & fall prone. If it hits something, 1d6 damage to the target and the struck object. The target falls prone infront of the object.

Fling Enemy(Ex): Goobear can make a grapple check at a -20 penalty. If successful, next action he can throw the grappled creature. The range increment is 120 ft, and the creature takes they take half fall damage they are thrown horizontally. If Goobear throws the creature at someone, his attack is at a -4 penalty, but if he hits, the damage is given to both.

Stamp(Ex): As a full round action Goobear can slam itself into the ground to make a localized earthquake. Area: 120 ft (24 square) cone. DC 55 balance check or be knocked down. Deals buildings 1d6+27, ignore hardness.

Acid(Ex): If Goobear hits with any of its natural attacks, it deals +2d6 acid damage. Goobear's claws deal an additional 3d6 acid damage

Goobear gains a +1 bonus to attack & damage if both it and its opponent are touching water. If Goobear or its opponent are on land, it suffers a -4 penalty on attack and damage.

Spell Absorption(Su): - If its spell resistance negates a spell, Goobear gains its choice of the following:

  • Might: +4 Enhancement bonus to Strength for 1 minute.
  • Agility: +4 Enhancement bonus to Dexterity for 1 minute.
  • Endurance: +4 Enhancement bonus to Constitution for 1 min.
  • Life: Gains (5 x negated spell level) Temporary Hit-Points.
  • Speed: Gains (5 x negated spell level)' to base movement.
  • Resistance: Gain Energy Resistance 10 to one type of energy of Goobear's choice (either Acid, Cold, Electricity, Fire, or Sonic)

Reflective Hide(Su): Goobear is always under the effect of Spell Turning

Resilient (Ex): Goobear has a less defined shape than a normal bear. As a result Goobear Cannot be flanked;

Immunities (Ex): Goobear is immune to acid damage, polymorphing, poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, and critical hits.

Saving Throw Bonuses (Ex): Goobear gains a +4 racial bonus on saves against mind-affecting effects.

Skills: Goobear has a +8 racial bonus on any Swim check to perform some special action or avoid a hazard. It can always choose to take 10 on a Swim check, even if distracted or endangered. It can use the run action while swimming, provided it swims in a straight line. Goobear receives a +4 racial bonus on Hide checks due to its translucent form.

Goobear Can put out fires, including magical fires on a dispel magic roll.

Goobear can speak Aquan, but will not actually ever do that
