Gaia Follower

Becoming a Gaia Follower

If you have Races of the wild - you will see a very similar class there... except it's limited to elf/half elf (which in a non-core book is stupid... non-core book should NEVER give a prestige class core book only requirements...) and was made in such a way to benefit the cleric a little bit more than it benefits the druid... This is designed to fix the mistakes in the book

Also when you become a Gaia follower (as suggested by the name of the class) your deity immediately becomes Gaia - a neutral god with the nature domain, its preferred weapon is any natural weapon.

Class Features

All of the following are class features of the Gaia Follower.

At first level a cleric Gaia follower may prepare any druidic spell of the proper level for its spell slots and a druid may prepare any cleric spell for it's spell slots. In addition if you did not receive domain spells (because you weren't a cleric) you now gain the ability to cast 1 spell from the nature domain per day per spell level (as if though you were a cleric)

Spellcasting: At each level, you gain new spells per day and an increase in caster level (and spells known, if applicable) as if you had also gained a level in a spellcasting class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If you had more than one spellcasting class before becoming a , you must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining spells per day, caster level, and spells known.

At 2nd level you gain access to Gaia spells

Spells: To cast a particular spell, you must have an Wisdom score of at least 10 + the spell's level. Your bonus spells are based on your Wisdom. Saves to avoid the effects of your spells have a DC of 10 + the spell's level + your Wis mod (if any).

You may only prepare/cast a number of Gaia spells equal to the number of levels in Gaia Follower. You may NOT prepare/cast a Gaia spell with a meta-magic feat. Any attempt to do so removes the knowledge of the spell from your memory you must prepare it again without the feat to use the spell again.

You cast spells as a Cleric or Druid (your choice) does. Table: Gaia Spells Known, below, You know all of the spells (as if you were a cleric or druid) but certain spells may not be availible due to your alignment. Choose your spells from the following list:

1st

Good - heal 1 hit point/round in a 25' +5'/caster level burst for 5+caster level minutes (affects terrain) (reflex save),

Lawful - Targets within a 25' + 5'/caster level burst must make a will save to attack you or attempt to alter the terrain.,

Neutral - Summon Nature's ally III,

Neutral - 25' + 5'/caster level burst becomes difficult terrain for opponents (this does not have a permanent affect on terrain) for 5 rounds +1/caster level.,

Neutral - Target ally within 25' +5'/caster level gains +4 magic bonus to AC, +2 to fort, +2 to reflex, and +2 to will for 5 rounds +1/caster level,

Neutral - All creatures within 25' +5'/caster level burst must fort save or become exausted. ,

Chaotic - 25' + 5' caster level burst of land becomes random terrain,

Evil - damage 1 hit point/round in a 25' +5'/caster level burst for 5+caster level minutes (affects terrain) (reflex save)

I have yet to get past 1st level spells - this class is a work in progress but you should be able to see that they are on the power of spell level +2 for most other classes - if anyone has any suggestions that would be great (I'm looking for 1 good, 1 lawful, 1 chaotic, 1 evil, and 5 neutral aligned spells/level)
