Formling

Physical Description

Formlings don't look much different from humans at all accept some will have sharp teeth and nails but all of them have yellow skin and black irises which is the only way to tell them apart from humans if they don't have sharp teeth or nails but most will wear 3 red lines of paint on there cheeks once they find there animal form.

History

the history of formlings is unknown but many believe they came from humans who found out how to harness there spirit animals.

Society

Formlings usually live in small villages in forest that snows a lot. Formlings usually camp out in the woods some time between the age of 10 and 13 by themselves and any other Formlings that born same day as them usually a twin sibling if they have one and during this time they usually get there animal form. When a Formling get there animal form they where hats that are shaped as the head of there animal form. On rare occurrences some Formlings never find there animal form but when it does happen these Formlings tend to be evil.

Formlings usually have names that are similar to humans some times there names effect what animal they become and other times its similar to there personality.

Male: Kataru, Vex

Female: Akita

formling Traits

Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom ability score increases by 1, your Constitution increases by 1 and your Dexterity increases by 1
Age. when it comes to aging a decade(10 years) is equal to 1 year of aging for humans Formlings mature in there late teens and live to be 100 decades old.
Alignment. Formlings usually leans to good or neutral.
Size. Formlings vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Animal Form. You have the ability to turn into beast that have some red markings like 3 red lines on there cheek/side of there face and some cases unusual amount of tails but once you pick a beast form you can only transform into that beast and that beast only and you pick your beast form at first level but depending on the animal you have to wait to be able to transform into it. You can stay in beast shape for a number of hours equal to your level. You can use this feature twice per short/long rest. Refer on the beast form CR table below as to what CR beast you can have your Formling turn into if you decide to unlock beast form at that level:
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and in your animal form you can talk to the animal species your form is.

gollark: They do still have their AI if you don't disable that, but you can probably emulate most of their actions by explicitly programming that.
