Flare (D20 Modern Equipment)

Flare

When this is activated (a standard action), it blinds all creatures and characters that can see the creature or character activating the flare (including the creature or character activating the flare). Creatures and characters affected by the flare can attempt a reflex save (DC 18) to attempt to prevent being blinded (DC 10 for the creature or character activating the flare). This effect lasts for 1d10 rounds (affecting all that move into line of sight of where the flare was dropped), and then the flare explodes, dealing 4d10 damage to all within 10ft of where the flare was dropped.

A flare has a purchase DC of 20, with a restriction of Mil (+3), and weighs 5lbs.
