gollark: Microsoft aren't entirely in the business of "free" data-monetized stuff. I mean, they are somewhat, so I don't particularly trust much of Windows either.

gollark: Google likes moving off Android OS features into Google Play Services, a constantly-running-with-many-permissions closed-source magic blob.

gollark: It's not very transparent if you can't actually see the code.
