If you want to use one of the user-generated dragons at Dragons (5e Creature) as the basis for a dragonborn character, use the following table:

In addition, and at your DM's discretion, your dragonborn might be more dragon-like as well. It might be more muscular, more apt or able to walk on all fours as well as bipedal. It could even have wings or better senses. Maybe its primal draconic urges are stronger. You could even consider a natural defense, I would recommend 10 + Dex + Con. Again, please discuss this with your DM first.
