Esserae

Esserae are a humanoid race of fox like people. They are witty and quick and make excellent scouts, skirmishers. Due to their size and general enlightned outlook on life few however choose the path of a full plate, frontline warrior, instead choosing to train in the various unarmed styles of warfare and archery.

Personality

Esserae are confident, inquisitive and brave. Many view the pursuit of knowledge as a noble goal in life. An equal number however believe true beauty is found in the martial skill of a well trained monk or ranger.

Physical Description

The Esserae are a lithe, athletic humanoid race. They have fox ears and a bushy tail. Powerful Esserae are known to have upto nine tails, as their tails constantly grow as they become more powerful. They have fox like noses and claw-like nails and small patches of fur over their bodies. Many have whiskers - all have elongated canine teeth. Most stand under 5 feet tall and weigh less than 120lbs.

Relations

Esserae are often carefree and enjoy the company of others. As such they get along well with all races.

Alignment

Lawful neutral and neutral good are the most common alignments amongst the Esserae.

Lands

Esserae posses no lands of their own. They prefer to build small towns and villages within caves, tree tops and wide open planes. Their cities are well known as social hubs for all races and religions. Very few Esserae cities have ever been attacked by outside forces due to their famous ability to make foes friends.

Religion

The Esserae are devout followers of Ancestor worship.
