Eliar is the goddess of fate and luck in the Trifadishti pantheon. She is seen as a humanoid with golden skin and short white hair, she also wears a dress made of coins from all different countries and values. Eliar constantly helps anyone who prays to her find fortune but usually at a rather steep price.
Eliar teaches her followers that the world isn't made of gold but gold sure helps make the world. Many merchants follow Eliar as well as adventurers looking to strike it rich on the journeys. However, Eliar is scrupulously fair and never gives you any more than you give to the world. She is said to curse people with bad luck at random by rolling dice on a massive turntable as she is also the patron of gambling and her image can occasionally be found printed and playing cards and carved into dice.
Eliars temples are always founded in places that are poor in an attempt to bring prosperity to the area. Once the area is freed from it's poverty, the church moves on. Thus seeing a church of Eliar established in your town is the absolute definition of bittersweet as it could mean the rise or fall of your town. Followers of Eliar are expected to help the world prosper but they are allowed to decide what that means, making them fickle allies and shrewd enemies.
