Druid (Plushie Substitution Level)

Plushie Druid Substitution Levels

Note: Only Eijilund Plushies are eligible for these. Plushie Druids are uncommon, but usually become such because they love animals. "They're just like pokemon!" Yeah, I'm not sure what he's thinking either.

Table: The Plushie Druid

15th+9/+4+8+4+8 Natural Fibers, Wild Shape (Huge)

Spellcasting: Normal druid spell progression applies to all druid substitution levels.

Stuffed Companion: Instead of a normal animal companion, a druid plushie can get a stuffed doll version of their chosen animal. They behave as normal with the following changes.

  • They gain the Construct type and Living Construct subtype, and all immunities and problems which come with it.
  • They gain the Fire subtype. They are immune to fire and take double damage from cold.
  • They have Light Fortification. Due to the lack of any real organs, there is a 25% chance a critical hit is negated.

For all other purposes the creature remains an Animal for the druid's spells, and can continue to be effected by Magic Fang and the like, and progresses as normal. In return for this power, a druid plushie loses 1 spell per level that he can cast, possibly resulting in 0 spells per day for that level.

Hidden In The Bush (Ex): At 9th level a druid plushie can use its small size and natural settings to its advantage. The plushie gains a +4 competence bonus to Hide and Move Silently checks while in natural terrain.

Natural Fibers (Su): The druid plushie is one with nature. At 15th level the druid plushie can channel the power of natural fibers such as cotton to repair themselves. They recover 1 hp per minute in a natural setting.

gollark: Arch Linux *ARM*, sorry.
gollark: Arch Linux, obviously. All glory to Arch.
gollark: Not really sure what sort of stuff exists on IRC which I might be interested in, though.
gollark: I might get some sort of web-based IRC client installed (like this: https://thelounge.chat/).
