Class Features

All of the following are class features of the Dragon Bow.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Dragon Bow is proficient with all simple and martial weapons, and with light armor, medium armor and shields (except tower shields).

Track As the Track feat.

Scent As the Scent feat.

Endurance You gain a +4 bonus on the following checks and saves: Swim checks made to resist nonlethal damage, Constitution checks made to continue running, Constitution checks made to avoid nonlethal damage from a forced march, Constitution checks made to hold your breath, Constitution checks made to avoid nonlethal damage from starvation or thirst, Fortitude saves made to avoid nonlethal damage from hot or cold environments, and Fortitude saves made to resist damage from suffocation. Also, you may sleep in light or medium armor without becoming fatigued.

Enhance Arrow(Su): Every nonmagical arrow a Dragon Bow nocks and lets fly becomes magical, gaining a +1 enhancement bonus. Unlike magic weapons created by normal means, the archer need not spend experience points or gold pieces to accomplish this task. However, an archer’s magic arrows only function for them. For every four levels the character advances the magic arrows they create gain +1 greater potency (+1 at 4th level, +2 at 8th level, +3 at 12th level, +4 at 16th level, and +5 at 20th level).

Precise Shot You can shoot or throw ranged weapons at an opponent engaged in melee without taking the standard -4 penalty on your attack roll.

Rapid ShotYou can get one extra attack per round with a ranged weapon. The attack is at your highest base attack bonus, but each attack you make in that round (the extra one and the normal ones) takes a -2 penalty. You must use the full attack action to use this feat.

Bow of the Colossus(Su): You're starting to deal more damage more consistently with the bow's natural power. Starting at level 11 your Bow deals damage as if it was one size category larger than it was, then again at level 15 for a total of 2 size categories (only effects size large characters or smaller)

Arcane Emission(Sp): The Dragon Bow is able to imbue his arrows with any target or line spells and fire them as he normally would, if it's a target spell it acts as normal, a line spell deals damage to all targets within it's path. Firing the arrow counts as part of the spell casting time.

Unseen Threat(Ex): Any time the Dragon Bow shoots from being hidden or out of line of sight, they deals extra damage

Take Aim(Ex): Up to two times a day the Dragon Bow is able to use a Full Attack to guarantee a critical strike, this attack never misses. If the target is immune to critical strikes (ex. undead, oozes) this attack instead does a minimum of average damage, any rolls that are under average become average. (ex. Large longbow does 2d6 if you roll a 2 and a 6 the 2 becomes a 3 for 9 damage instead of 8)

Perpetual Threat Increase your threat range while wielding a bow to 40 feet for Attacks of Opportunity

Armored Mage The Dragon Bow takes no spell failure chance while in light armor, starting at level 4, and Medium Armor, starting at level 6.

Power Shot(Ex): Through some strange occurrence, the Dragon Bow is capable of infusing the bow with their own strength at the cost of accuracy, You may take up to your base attack bonus (Maximum 10) as a penalty to hit, to deal damage equal to the penalty taken on that shot.

Camouflage You gain the ability to use the Hide skill in any sort of natural terrain, even if the terrain doesn’t grant cover or concealment.

Hide in Plain Sight While in any sort of natural terrain you can use the Hide skill even while being observed.

Sacrificial Scales(Su): As an immediate reaction a Dragon Bow may have an ethereal scale appear around them, blocking a single attack before shattering up to 5/day.

Wings The Dragon Bow grows a set of wings with flight speed equal to their highest base speed with perfect maneuverability, if they already had wings, they replace their old flight speed.

Arcane Hail(Sp): In lieu of their regular attacks, once per day fire an arrow at each and every target within range. Each attack uses the archer’s primary attack bonus, and each enemy may only be targeted by a single arrow. If used with Arcane Emission, each arrow uses the same spell and spell slot.

Spells: Dragon Bow's Take their spells from the sorcerer/wizard spell list. He can cast any spell he knows without preparing it ahead of time, the way a wizard or a cleric must.

To learn or cast a spell, a Dragon Bow must have an Intelligence score equal to at least 10 + the spell level. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against a Dragon Bow's spell is 10 + the spell level + the Dragon Bow's Intelligence modifier.

Unlike a wizard or a cleric, a Dragon Bow need not prepare his spells in advance. He can cast any spell he knows at any time, assuming he has not yet used up his spells per day for that spell level. He does not have to decide ahead of time which spells he’ll cast.

A Dragon Bow can only cast spells while wielding a bow
