Deployable Cover (D20 Modern Equipment)

Deployable Cover

When this is activated (a standard action), it forms a barrier of energy in front of the character who activates it. The barrier grants total concealment for creatures and characters behind it (although this is only partial concealment against thrown weapons). The barrier has a hardness of 0 and 22 hit points. When the barrier reaches 0 hit points, it deactivates. It is treated like an energy shield, and has a recharge rate of 5.

Deployable Cover has a purchase DC of 30, with a restriction of Mil (+3), and weighs 5lbs.
