History

Since the dawn of time, the demons have lived in solitude. One grave day they were invaded and almost completely wiped out by the humans, forced to stay in disguise as other races, they reside among their fellow races as well as enemies, for so long in fact, that they have strayed from their natural form and only become so when necessary.

Demon Traits

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2 and your Strength increases by 1.
Age. Immortal
Alignment. Based on subrace
Size. Based on Subrace
Speed. Your base walking speed is Bassed on Subrace feet.
Demon form. As an action, you transform yourself in a demon. When you use demon form, you cannot use any of your racial abilities except unarmored defense and darkvision. While in demon form your armor increases to max of 20 and you gain a +2 bonus to strength, dexterity and constitution. you may use this once per day at 1st level, then an additional use at 6th, 12th, and 18th level. after using the demon form you immediately need to take a long rest. If you use a short rest you do not gain any of your ability modifiers until you take a second short rest to equal the same time as a long rest. while in demon form you roll 1d4 (+1d4 at 3rd, 7th, 13th) at the beginning of each of your turns for temporary health regain. You are a large creature when demon. The demon form may last a while but you must be able to leave your demon form, or every 1 hour you will take insanity points of damage worth 1d10 until your character is no longer in control and attacks everything in sight no matter who. When in this form, you have advantage in all of your melee weapon attacks.
Darkvision. You can see in the dark and magical dark up to 60 feet, you cannot discern color.
Unarmored Defense. While you are not wearing any armor, your Armor Class equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Constitution modifier. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit.
Demonic Resistance. You have resistance to necrotic damage and Advantage to resist poison.
Claws. In your true form, your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d8 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and what your subrace gives you.
Subrace. your race is any race like dwarf, elf, dragonborn, ect.
