Demon

Physical Description

Devilish in appearance, these men and women are very similar to humans anatomically. With minor exceptions containing parts of them being aflame, adorned in rings, spikes, horns, hooves, and many more, these demons can be quite the specimen. They often have conflicting and wildly varying opinions on one another, and can usually be easily distinguished.

Their skin are typically shades of red and grey, although certain demons can be shades of black or blue. They can also be adorned with horns, which vary in length from short and stubby to long and sharp. The color for these horns also vary from shades of white to shades of black.

They do not need to consume food the way humans do, as they have their own substitutes. What they prefer to consume depends on the subspecies. This does not stop them from eating regular food however.

History

Demons are made through a plethora of ways. Certain demons are as old as time itself, others are born. Some are summoned into existence, others created. Some can even be born into existence, while others simply manifest. As demons vary greatly, so does the way they've come to be. This also brings the subject of age. Most demons come to existence as a fully matured adult. While some can also come to be as a child, teenager, or even an infant. It all depends on the particular demon.

Demons have been known to harass people and their societies since the dawn of time. Most demons continue to this day, possessing certain objects, colluding with evil spirits, torturing the living from the underworld, etc. A certain thing all demons have in common however, is a desire to escape the Underworld. The Underworld can be quite the unforgiving place, as some of its expanses are downright brutal. These expanses can contain massive sulfur deposits, assaulting the nose. Certain areas have lava oceans, poison clouds, and many other formidable occurrences. Not all places are like this in the Underworld however, some places can be quite pleasant. This for demons is not enough though, as most have an insatiable desire for satisfaction.

Society

Demon society is a tangled and complex affair, with many contradictory and confusing facets. For all intents and purposes, their societies are very similar to that of the average humanoid. But they do have certain demonic societal behaviors and traits.

Adornments: demons typically love to adorn their bodies, it comes to the point where it is a societal norm. The average demon has at least one of these, if not several. Rings: whether it's a nose ring or
