Davian (3.5e Deity)

Davian is the god of war and warriors, and rules over his dominion from War's Pinnacle, a vast mountain fortress thronged with battlements and towers, standing equidistant from the Bloodpeak. His servants are the Valkyries, warrior-women armed with spears and riding on flying, blood-stained horses. Davian himself is a human warrior, old and grizzled, armed with the sword Foesmiter. His hair is razor-sharp and made of iron, and he wears no helmet. His bitterest enemy is Mengar, the blood-maddened god of Berserkers and destruction. He is also the god of luck, as every warrior must gamble with his life.

Dogma

Exult in the glory of war. Say your prayers before battle, and hope that tomorrow you survive.

Clergy and Temples

Davian's temples are known as Houses of War - made of redstone and heavily fortified, they are incredibly difficult to assault. This is not helped by Davian's clergy, the aptly-named Warrior Priests, who tend to be skilled fighters as well as powerful clerics. Davian has one of the lowest numbers of worshippers of any greater god.

gollark: You're still not measuring actual *local* solar position, which you seemed to suggest that people needed. It's generally close, but it's affected by political factors a lot.
